At the sixth annual Lambing Flat Chinese Festival on Saturday, Ms Jing thanked Hilltops council and the Young community for helping drive a growing relationship between the Cherry Capital, China and sister city Lanzhou.
She visited various sites with Chinese heritage significance, including the Chinese Tribute Garden and local museum.
"I've been here for one month. It gives me a deep impression of the multicultural environment here in Australia and also the connections and interchanges between China and Australia. I was so much impressed by that," she said.

She said the relationship between Young and China was developing quickly, highlighting that "tasty cherries" from Young had made their first appearance into the Chinese market in 2018.
"I think the relations between Young and China are moving really fast and I'm very happy to see last year the tasty cherries have already made first foray into the Chinese market and I think Chinese consumers were pleased to not only taste cherries form America, but also Australia."
"I hope people here and people from China will have a promising future of corporation hand-in-hand, joining their hands to build this city - a very prosperous and vibrant city."
Mayor Brian Ingam said Australia has benefited "enormously" from Chinese immigration.
